I have spoofed recently mainly to trade with people who live far from me. I think it stupid to drive 30 minutes just trade with someone when gas cost so much. ( I have many friends who live far from me.) I never liked having drive just to trade which just takes few seconds. Also I spent more money for raid passes while spoofing than while I have not. As long I pay them they should not care if spoof or not.

I don’t have the luxury to travel the world and catch ‘em all. I can go to a local gym and attempt a 5 star raid BY MYSELF. I use to spoof and even spoofing in the game was hard enough. Niantic will realize that most of their sales probably comes from spoofers.

I’m really worried now because I was bed ridden for 2 weeks recently and I used a spoofer to just play my normal local farming route so I would not miss out on the TCG event. I know it was technically cheating but I wasn’t doing anything I usually wouldn’t do, will never touch the app again after this tho.

I think I’ll just quit. Gas costs too much to drive to any place with enough pokestops nearby. I have to walk over a mile to find the first pokestop. My wife hates how much time (I used to) spend on POGO. I’m not a YouTuber who can travel and use it as a tax write-off. See ya Niantic! I’m done.

I’m a bit older than most people. I play it, to bond with my 8 year son. Love capturing new Pokémon, and show him. Then i allow him to play. I understand the disadvantages of spoofing. I personally can not, because i use my company mobile phone, so i can’t tamper with changing my location. But i can get people to spoof to my location. So i can make trades. I feel like, if they’re going to enforce some of these, They should at least allow trade partners to trade from anywhere. Perhaps used a remote trade purchase in the shop or something. Especially when there’s trade research challenges. Not everyone player is going to Australia just to capture Pokémon. Let’s not forget price of fuel today, which effects the airline prices too.

I have pogo friends from all over the world and when we’re lucky or when there’s a shiny one of us just can’t seem to get we trade. We have each others login info so we can login on a second phone and trade before logging out again….. because there’s no long distance trading rn and I do live in a really remote area as do a lot of them. I really hope we aren’t going to get banned for that… we’re long overdo for some kind of long distance trading.

🙄 I suggest this game gets a complete overhaul, why because regardless how fair Niantic wants to even the playing field, its still a disadvantage because the 100% population doesn’t live in New York, Berlin, London, Sydney and all of those Huge congested places.

If only Niantic and Spoofer software developers come together and create a new experience of playing Pokémon Go where it benefits everyone.

Mr Billy all do respect, no excuse in the world will justify Cheating, but I don’t believe it makes sense to waste 5 years of your life just to fine one shundo when you have other adult responsibilities to attend to other then PoGo but it’s understandable when you play PoGo for a living and profiting from it and Yes the reward is sweeter when you find a legit shundo in the game. (Generalizing and not directing this point at you Mr. Billy)

To this day I’m still asking myself why are we paying for trading?! And why can’t we train our Pokémon (manually adjust the IVs). If this game is design to build memories then training our Pokémon should be included in that, but clearly Niantic doesn’t want to change the game forumla because naive consumers haven’t cracked down enough on Niantic’s management of PoGo and i guess the Pokémon we catch in the game is nothing but tokens to Niantic as well.

I spoof to play at bigger locations because its way better than playing on a remote island in the Caribbean.

I endorse spoofing. I don’t spoof anymore but I kinda wish I still did. Pokémon Go is random so it’s often very hard to find the Pokémon I want! 🙁

Maybe I finally start saving money. It’s not like free to play. It cost 100 coins for a play. People who spoof location and spend $$$ on coins. I guess Niantic doesn’t like $$.

It’s pretty stupid to for them to shoot themselves in the foot. Most people stop playing after a few months. I can’t wait for them to suspend my account, so I can save $$$ to do other stuff more. LOL!
