I dont see how spoofing is unfair when not everyone is privledged to travel anywhere to catch pokemon…feels like they wanna be the only one to screw players over like they did on gofest
Easy loophole: make a safe main account an plenty spoofing accounts to gather then trade to main account cx

I dont see how spoofing is an issue I’ve been thinking about doing it myself I started when the game first came out as soon as I realized you couldnt move freely around like the gamboy games I thought it was the dumbest thing ever. I get on like 3-4 times a month maybe less there is nothing around the nearest gym and poke stop is 20 miles away . My pokemon is in a gym for over 140 days smh…. spoofers have nothing to do with my game play well maybe in the master leauge only but battle leauge is whack i don’t play it because I have nothing good after 6 years of being in a rural area. They should just unlock free movement let us get on a train or ss anne to go places lol.

Honestly I wish they’d put this much focus and attention into listening to the trainers that play this game how it was intended to be played because right now it doesn’t seem like they care what the community says like for example the removal of the free remote raid passes and rising the price of them many people weren’t happy but they did it anyway.

Ooooh noo. An unfair advantage. Not like people living in rural areas have an unfair disadvantage. Literally going to a town feels like cheating compaired to what I have at home. I don’t care if people are spoofing. They need to make the game better for everyone before going after cheaters. That is how you stop cheating the correct way.

I played legit at the beginning of 2016 when the game came out. I lost interest in the game because of how difficult it was to raid. I only came back because a friend showed me you can spoof and have an easier time raiding. After that I was hooked. I’m not proud of it but I’ve probably spent $1000 alone so far this year raiding because I had the ability to because of spoofing. I never held down gyms because I never like ruining someone elses experience. I’ve only focused on raiding and If i’m being honest, I’ll continue to spoof to raid. If I get banned then so be it. Thats less money i’ll be spending. Trying to raid legit is a major time consumption if you can even find people to raid with. I enjoy this game when I spoof. I don’t when I can’t. I’ll never go out of my way to ruin someone elses experience. I understand what I’m doing is technically cheating and if I get banned so be it.

My only issue is that they need to put the same efforts into the actual game and fixing all the game play bugs that we consistently have, that they are putting in this technology to ban spoofers.

It would be great if Niantic would concentrate on fixing all the glitches in the game. The game is constantly freezing up and I have to log out and back again hoping I don’t loose the raid invite, constantly receiving the crazy circling in the corner like it’s searching for service when I’m on WiFi, game closes randomly while playing and many more issues not being addressed.

I’ve put time and effort to grow my account. I’ve e always been a regular player recently however I got into spoofing about a month ago. Also niantic does not give a fair advantage to everyone. The spoofing apl I’ve been using however has been down so I’m back to playing normally. I get why people spoof. I’ve spoofed because I live in a rural area and the nearest gyms are 6 miles away from me. Gas prices are ridiculously high right now and I can’t afford going to the park every day just to get coins. Maybe if niantic made the limit of coins to be 100 or more players like me would be able to upgrade bag and Pokémon storage. This is Niantic’s fault for making Pokémon go less enjoyable. Like come on now taking away the two free raid passes from spinning gyms? Taking away the three remote raid pass bundle box?? Imagine. Also niantic will not reimburse you for lost remote raid passes which I don’t get.

honestly spoofers are keeping the game alive. And im pretty sure Niantic employees dont really care if you’re spoofing. I tried both ways and it is way more fun spoofing. When i play legit it just feels like im missing out alot and Ill have to spend money on remote tickets to raid. If they did get rid of spoofers the community will slowly die out

I’ve heard people are getting banned for having more than one account. But a lot of these people have children and are just logging their kids into their phone. I do this. Haven’t had bans or anything though. Just worried cause it’s happened to other people.

First of all imma start by saying “ITS JUST A FRIKIN GAME”! And now that I got that out of the way, all games are made to give the players an experience but let’s not pretend that it is not about making money as well. Niantic has not been shy about the money grab events it has implemented from time to time. Second not everyone has the same opportunities as others to play this game and for it to be enjoyable. And Pokemon is loved by alot of people. They way I feel is that in order to reach all your fans of the game and to make this game more enjoyable to everyone. They should let people play the game however they wanna play. Not everyone can play how you play sir or even play how normal players play but they love Pokemon Go and Pokemon in general. All this complaining about spoofing needs to be looked at not to punish people but to figure out how to make the game better and more accessable for EVERYONE. Then maybe people would stop spoofing, I honestly don’t care if someone is cheating or not I don’t care if they got better Pokemon than me, all I care about is if “I’m” enjoying the game or not. This just sounds to me like all the top players are just whining and complaining because they are upset that people have better Pokemon than they do, and they didn’t have to do all the traveling and money spending to get what they have. But like I said earlier, some people don’t have the resources and or the time to play how YOU play. So please just play the game and stop worrying about what everyone else is doing. No disrespect to anyone who is a content creator or hardcore player of this awesome game. I’m just stating some facts that no one wants to acknowledge or they don’t seem to care about. I don’t support cheating or spoofing, but spoofers aren’t hurting you or the game, sounds to me like they are just hurting feelings and egos of top tier players because they don’t want anyone to have what they have unless they get them the exact same way they got them. AGAIN, I repeat…”Not everyone has the resources, time, or means to play how you play and spoofing is a way for them to enjoy the game how they want, when they want to. JUST LET PEOPLE PLAY THE GAME. Now if they where hacking the game to get free poke coins or free event tickets and raid passes then that would be a legitimate cause for concern. But that’s not the case. You wanna play legit, play legit, you wanna spoof, spoof, just leave people alone and play the game. What others are doing are none of your concern. 🙄

It doesn’t bother me that people spoof ( I have done it on a different account for entertainment when my husband was working out of town ) I PERSONALLY would never trade Pokémon on my spoof account to my main because I hate the feeling of cheating it was for pure entertainment and that’s all. It doesn’t affect anybody else in the game, so I don’t really see the issue with spoofing at all. It’s kind of a dumb rule in my opinion

I don’t like spoofers so I’m super happy that they are going to ban it. I hope they stop all spoofers apps since its rigged.
