Find it very odd you say keeping it fair but there’s a lot of people who can’t afford to travel all around the world to go to all these events I don’t think you can spoof on iPhone so I don’t know nothing about it but I still think it’s ridiculous you’re talking about playing fair but you’re one of the people who are paid to play to go all around the world and enjoy the event there are people who cannot afford to go all around the world

If I have two strikes from 3 years ago but I play legit now, do those strikes go away after a certain period of time or do I have to still be worried about being falsely terminated?

Sony has known about save editing apps like Save wizard for a long time, and they’re not going around banning people, lots of people I know have stopped playing Pokemon go cause of the unplayable direction that Niantic has taken the game lately, if you lived in a rural area with no gyms or stops then incense was your best friend particularly on comm days, Niantic has render that useless, not endorsing spoofers but I get why they do it, and let’s admit they are doing the only ones giving a damm enough to be still playing and spending at this point.

Fair advantage? Billy I disagree 100% for the first time ever, and that’s totally okay. Niantic does NOT care about fair advantage, seriously it’s funny you even say that. Money is the main goal of theirs. I love the game but the game is not fair to people who can’t go out because of a fear of an invisible enemy. I don’t fear the cold too much so I’m good. They also massively nerfed the perc of incense, which was a fantastic change when it was first implemented due to CV-19. Honestly Niantic doesn’t care about spoofers. Shoot, there’s a specific Pokémon Go player that does it. Even during videos and live streams. He’s done it for years but we know who that is. I have a friend in which he spoofs to me with to do trades, been doing it for years. Niantic needs to focus on other things. Like GBL lagging, losing raid passes and select Pokémon due to no reason at all and give us new hairstyles for crying out loud. I have never spoofed but know many that do, there shouldn’t be anything against it in my honest opinion

Niantic will loose more money as they ban spoofing, lots of players who don’t have enough pokestops gyms to access they will quit the game…at the end of the day niantic will loose active players. So does not matter what Niantic is doing, game is not for the players, players are for the game…if people are not enjoying the game they will quit and start a new game

Playing in my city I came to know a couple of big cheaters who would actually look down on other players while some players, especially newer ones, would look up to them want to be more like them. One of these people even made a name for himself by writing his own cheating software that would allow him to search the world for the shiny he wanted and then transport him there and guarantee the catch. Everyone wanted to know these people because they were trading away their dozens of super rare shinies and their complete collections of unowns. I was never a fan of their methods and kind of disgusted at how they were treated like local celebrities.

I personally don’t care if someone spoofs or not. More power to them if that what they enjoy. It’s not like it’s taking anything away from anyone else. We’re not playing against each other except in PVP and even then it’s not like you’re losing loot if you lose in PVP. I say let players play the way they want and it’s a win win for everyone. I would bet spoofers spend more money than the regular player base does as well.
