I watch your videos, and a few others on you tube, there is one person I have also watched and he is in the Netherlands and he streams all the time and he goes all over the world without leaving his home does Niantic know about him too?

every single ticketed event needs to have a global option
sick of this fomo nonsense, is it even fomo we need to spend thousands of dollars just to go to a 1 – 2 day event for a mobile game? Lol
It’s just so odd, But props to those folk who lives in those select areas I guess?

It does feel like gofest this year did get shafted for these in-person ones though, But the in-person ones also seem smaller in scale spawn wise, it’s like they just took chunks out of this years global fest and moved them into in person events or something.

I am just curious to see how these in person go fest go this year.
I am praying this finale event will be worth the wait too…

There is def a VERY BIG disconnect with rural players for sure. These raid to continue comdays are painful in smaller parks with less gyms, That research day for the fossil boys was cool, But it was a struggle once again at my local park since I didn’t have 50+ stops like a city. I seen pokestops be REMOVED in my small area it’s sad lol.

You guys understand that you don’t need to get everything right now? its the same thing in all games, people wont put the effort in but still want to get everything for free. they say: “Oh its unfair that only the hardcore guys gets the top tier armors in wow”, or “oh its unfair that only dedicated players get rare pokemon”, well that’s the goal of everything, put effort in, get great rewards. I mean getting super rare pokemons is the point of the game. Its just a bunch of pixels, the emotional value comes from them being rare. So what emotional value does a spoofed Relicanth have? I would say no value at all. At one point you maybe will be able to trade with someone for it, even if you can’t travel. I can tell for every rare pokemon I have where I got it from, I got a pachirisu when my godchild went to Edmonton for a year to learn English, so he brought me and my son a couple back to trade. I got a relincanth because a buddy at work traveled to New Zealand, I talked him into playing pokemon bevor he leaves, he did and is still playing now, he brought me a couple relincanths back to trade, then we went to holidays, we though about either greece or turkey, the final swing was that Sigilyph was available in greece so we opted for greece and catcher a couple Sigilyphs. you see where I’m going with this? those pokemons have emotional value, while a spoofed one doesn’t.

If my town has more poke stops and gyms like Sydney or Zaragoza I will not spoof that’s for sure .

I only spoof for raids it’d be nice if they had a remote raid daily n increased the distance we could see raid gyms in game maybe that’d help us all have a fair chance at Legendaries.

To now say that spoofing is bandable is stupid or should be band is stupid regardless of how less and no pokestop were here in our remote region of places.

First off.back when I me and my friends were playing there are no pokestop , there aren’t even spawning pokemon in our area, and in big cities there are gyms and pokestops. Raids are there , you can catch lots of pokemon out in the big places ,… So for you to say that the so far 9 shundos you got or lets say all the legends you got so far in 6 years or more . We wouldnt even get those in 6 or more years .

Later there are pokestop n gyms in the area but we still got problems, every one wants to gin the pokecoins , so we knock each other before even gaining the full potemtial coins which we should be gaining. Big problem, the spoofers can hit us out from their comfort area sitting at home , we have no choice bit to make it even . So with that what’s your solution to that, we had to run out from our house to raid to put back in the gyms . Spending time hours n hours sweating. We had no choice but to do it too. I wanna this story to the niantic group too. No one is gonna catch anything much sitting at home or raid . What about in high terms of situation like covid, i mean , you people going out during the pandemic was stupid as well , if niantic woukd come up with something bwtter or hve an acceptance to hving net mobility on the game then only then it would be better.

What about people who grow up knowing pokemon , but are disable person , what about them ?. They wanna play too.

There are so many reasons more, … to talk about it here. But i donno it’s your game . You make the choice. We are just the player,.. Some of us have have stops n gyms some dont, some can go out some cant, some can travel with the money they got, some dont have money to travel all the time.

Where I live there are spoofers that dominate gyms in certain areas of the town. In this case, Valor color gyms is the dominant color of about nine gyms. In this case, if you try to attack the gym it alerts the spoofer at his home computer then he just makes it impossible to take the gym. Then if you keep track of their pokemon in the gym, he makes changes of pokemon accounts in which I believe he has around 10-12 accounts or maybe more, then he cycles them to earn the 50 Pokecoins every 24hrs. Pretty neat way of earning coins when you can do everything for your account in every gym you have pokemon from home. You never have to leave home and you can occupy any gym in the entire city. It sure can save the owner a lot of gasoline and walking for miles which non-spoofers do for the fun of the game. This type of spoofer has been reported many times but Niantic just keeps letting him play. This totally not fair and it kind of takes the fun out of the game so consequently I don’t play as often as I use to.

There are people I know who spend money on the game and still spoof. It’s because they love the game, but are not able to go outside and walk around. So they spoof locally. They never brag about what they have. Most of the times I as a normal player have better Pokemon. Regarding to gyms, they also wait to take over a gym when the other party has been in it for a day or 8 hours. The point is that not all Spoofers brag about Shundos and snatch gyms etc..
There are people who spoofed less when the incense had more spawns. Because they could play more from home.
So if I’m looking at those spoofers, I don’t get why they should get banned.
Best thing for Niantic is to spend their money to fix issues with the game. Make things more accessible such as better spawns and PokeStop + Gym approvals so people who are less fortunate don’t feel the need to spoof, just to walk around their neighborhood.

P.s. talking about unfair gameplay. Why am I not getting Go Fest balloons on my Xiaomi android device, but people with other brands do get them?

That is more unfair than people I don’t know or care about who spoof to get 100% IV Pokemon.

I never ever get promotional ballons on my Xiaomi phone (Mi 11 Ultra)

Niantic wants everyone on an even playing field…?
Tell that to the people who live in smaller villages with little to no Pokéstops/Gyms vs. people who live in places like Sydney or New York who have hundreds of stops and gyms right at their fingertips.

Also, tell it to the people who can’t afford/is not convenient to travel all the time to play the game – not necessarily even to other countries – but even to their local hotspots. People with jobs, family members to care for etc…

We aren’t all YouTubers who get paid to play this game!

And as Swag tips also mentioned. Bringing the community days back to 3 hours makes it hard for a PvP player to get the right stats on a Pokemon for GBL. If you have weather boost you are already screwed on getting good PvP stats. This does give a disadvantage to normal players v.s. Spoofers.

A bigger window for CD would help a lot. The new system they introduced with Deino CD is amazing. But would rather see a CD of a minimum of 4 hours and extended with the raiding system if people want to grind. But than again, there must be plenty of raids to choose from. On Deino CD I played in a big city, but still hardly any raids to be seen after the first hour Zweilous was in raids.

Niantic has to address that ppl have their own lives and they dont want schedule them based on stupid events with a narrow time window. A game should be played in ur free time but here with lastly changes u must take free time to play when niantic want.. that s the worse

What advantage does spoofing give really? I don’t do it myself. But besides battling (which not a lot of people do) I don’t see the issue. Maybe they should address the games actual issues.

If you want unfair advantages to stop then Niantic needs to do away with remote raid passes and raiding. Only the people who can spend hundreds of dollars can get shundos
