Love how they won’t fix the game itself with all the glitches and trash Gbl algorithms and glitches but make this their first priority. Why not make a special team for bugs and glitches instead of kicking your own players out of your game

From someone who spoofed for a long period of time from 2017-2019 before i quit playing, It sucks not being able to spoof anymore. I live in an area where nobody plays anymore and i dont have the financial ability to travel whenever i want. I used to spoof to actually be able to raid and collect pokestops. Not possible where I live. This is why i quit, Its a pokemon game and people take it way too serious.

I may have missed it as I was multitasking while listening, did he say anything about switching between accounts on the same device? I’ve gotten error messages doing this. My nephews have their own accounts but not their own devices. I don’t want a banned because of being the cool good aunt and letting them play on my phone.

So, according to Niantic, they want to ensure a “fair, fun and safe” experience for everybody. So let’s see about those 3 points:
Fair: In my country, there is no in person event at all. I live in a city, pretty much at the centre. There are a few gyms and some pokestops, but getting a legendary raid done with local people only? Forget it, even above level 40. Get a bit outside of the centre, it’s worse. How is this gameplay it fair in comparison to NYC, Dan Francisco, LA, Paris etc, where there’s tons of spawn and even a lvl 5 player can get into a legendary raid done? The closest hot-spot for me is abroad. If I want an experience that might even come close to somenother players, I have to go abroad to play the game, and Niantic says this is fair? This isn’t. I ask myself how would you pr any other american react if you were (indirectly) told that if you want a good game experience, all you have to do is pick your car, drive down cross the border of Mexico and play in Tijuana. There would be an uproar. And if you doubt this, just wonder why every successful pokemon go content creator either lives in or nearby a hot-spot or is spoofing.
Fun: In my area, a city area in my country, there’s very few pokestops and even less gyms. I made an experiment yesterday and knocked a gym out without replacing pokemon in it. More than 24 hours later, that gym in the city centre is still empty. This is how fun the game is to play here without spoofing: its so fun, people gave up, they won’t even refill a gym innthe city centre in 24 hours. The game is not fun outside of those areas. Billy, if you doubt that, please go play the game one month in a remote area. No remote raid pass, and see for yourself how not fun it is.
Safe: encouraging a kid to get into a remote dark alley in a city to catch a pokemon, or indirectly encouraging a kid to go abroad by himself to get a better experience is anything but safe. Walking with your eyes riveted to your phone is anything but safe (yes, I know about rhe warning. I also know about humans, and this warning won’t stop things to happen).
So on all count from Niantic’s objectives, the game fails. Spoofing fixes all that: the fame is now much more fair, much more fun, and much, much safer.
If Niantic wants that, they should think about fixing the game design first

Tbh 2h timer works in pogo, 2h cooldown is max u can get, spoofing for example from AU to USA

The argument for “fairness” goes out the window when you absolutely HAVE to be able-bodied and privileged to fully enjoy even the basics of the game. Enjoying and playing “like you do” is incredibly privileged. So many of us can’t even leave the house most of the time, let alone go wandering miles weekly. Literally the only way some people have of playing is “spoofing” gps. How is that an “unfair advantage”. I guess disabled people just aren’t wanted to play.

I don’t care for spoofing. I’ve seen ppl say that shundo hunting can take MANY hours. Aside from that, if Niantic doesn’t want to lose PAYING customers (yes because spoofers DO spend a lot of money) they can make a free and a paid version of PoGo. The paid version can be a spoofing one. I’m sure they’ll make ppl and themselves happy ($$$$$) by doing so.

It’s interesting that Niantic are able to develop an advanced anti-spoofing system that was able to detect over 5 million rogue accounts, and yet they haven’t been able to actually fix their game in years! Maybe because they can’t make money from spoofers? 🧐 Do auto catchers not offer some similar advantages vs those who don’t have them? Or are they allowed because Niantic sell an auto catcher? Difficult to know where to draw the line…

My only opinion on spoofing is that for someone who is disabled they should be able to apply to Niantic and they should have the ability to have a joystick where they can just walk. No teleporting, no catch assists, etc. I know someone in a wheelchair that would love to play the game but they can’t wheel around town and catch pokemon.

I have been playing since it started and I still don’t have a shundo. It’s hard to play the game when I have to drive 20 mins to the nearest poke stop. I think it’s fair that they are doing this to the spoofers

If you want people to ”play like you do”, then you need to tell Niantic to give everyone tickets to exclusive events like in Berlin, Safari zones to get these pokemon to play like you do.

To be honest the only reason that I spoof is for daily free raid. I am happy to have 2-3 pokestop in our locality, if no one in your area play Pokémon go other than you how is it possible to beat 5* raid. I also like to have legendary Pokemon, and there are many people who are greedy when I ask them for invite they want money. So if this happens I have to sell my account, and last pogo player of our locality more specific state will die. And moreover helped many legit player to get shiny and didn’t ask anything special, helped in raid with my 3 account, also helped people knocked out Pokemon if they allowed me by messenger, what I have is love for the game. One day I will completely stop spoof once I have enough money to travel.
