How about they Make it Fair By leaving the Spoofers. People use Money to get theirs , A level Playing field would be making stops globally. When I travelled I realised how much CHIT MY LOCATION WAS. NEXT IF THEY WANT IT “FAIR” They would make a Spoofers ZONE. Go outside this zone banned for Life.

you guys pay to catch your pokemon and do raids with coin purchases for next to infinite items and able to buy bag slots and pokemon storage to give you an advantage against poor or rural players. we pay to move around, to be able to play the game. sorry like your vids but you literally pay to win. your no better

Honestly whatever if they ban rural players, rural player would just stop playing. They’d lose a ton of money, their loss. I’ll hop on cod again, where it’s easier to have a “fair playing field” lol

They removed that free pass by distance, they do events like ” spinning new pokestops “, they’re getting information to try automatize this without a lot of work. The level 31 cap for GG candy too… Its all tools to put on number the amount of casuals, spenders, alts, spoofers.

I have a bunch of friends that spoof and they don’t even use the gyms bc they’re too busy just playing the game to it’s max capacity that the gym system doesn’t really matter. So spoofing doesn’t bother me unless your just ruining other players experience

I did spoof and spended thousends of dollars so far. Got yesterday a perman bann. They said that they woulnd uplift the bann, but i could create a new account instead. Like i would spend another thousends of dollars on a new account, while i got 3 other accounts that never ever had a warning.. policy says 1 account per person 🤣

The biggest cheaters arw the once with map usage, multiple phones with accounts and being annoying with gyms.

Yeah i cheated, i got punished my journey is over. 🤗

Here’s my take on spoofing. It doesn’t matter at all unless you are force holding a gym. This rhetoric about “competive advantage” is total crap, outside of GBL the game never pits you against another trainer. And even in the case of GBL, stat products matter so little compared to the pokemon line up, move selection, and player skill. You would never know what mons another trainer has unless they show you their account. While spoofing is definitely against terms of service, I personally can’t stand the phrasing as a competing advantage. If someone spoofs a lot to get maxed hundo legendaries, they are spending a ton of money to get those, and what impact does it have on your game? The impact is, they will do more damage in raids WHICH HELPS ALL OTHER PLAYERS.In addition, since spoofers can change their coordinates, they can catch any regional AND TRADE THEM TO YOU FROM ANYWHERE. Unless you can’t handle the jealousy of not having as many shundos (even while knowing they didnt work for it), having a spoofing player on your friends list literally only benefits you (until they get banned for ToS). I am not here to advocate for spoofing (it is against the rules so dont do it), I just want realistic dialogue.

Honestly if people want to spoof then all the power to them. I truly believe niantic won’t completely ban spoofing just off the fact that most of their income probably comes from spoofers. They cut off the head and 6 more grow.

GG cheating is wrong its not worth losing your account, I won’t be playing pogo anymore I live in a rural area and this game is balanced to live in the city and play in the city. Love my 200 mewtwo collection before my departure from nantic.

It’s kinda curious how Niantic would prefer to ban spoofing accounts considering that a big chunk of those who spoof also pay money, and maybe even more than a casual weekend player who doesn’t invest in the game. Clearly there are people who don’t pay a dime and just limit themselves to what the game gives you for free, but the majority of spoofers also do tons of raids/ticketed events in order to hunt for shiny/hundo/shundo, which cost money. What happens when they keep getting shinies and hundos constantly? Well, they need storage space, so again, more money.
Also, some of the spoofing aps are up and running for years, you wanna tell me that in all this time Niantic’s legal team weren’t able to find them and sue them/take them down completely to stop the usage of the apps and spoofing overall? Of course they could’ve done that easily instead of ban waves or manually selecting accounts and close them from time to time, but at the end of the day, this game is a bussiness for Niantic, and when the data analist comes at the quarterly meeting and presents the graph that shows how much money a spoofing app brings in terms of revenue, I highly doubt that the CEO will say “yeah, let’s cut 30- 40% of our earnings so that people will feel it’s a fair game (which isn’t anyway)”.
Lastly, if they had any real interest in eliminating the concept of spoofing, they took a 1 year and a half wave ban break to “study” the behaviour of spoofers so they can..ban them better?😂

For niantic it’s all about money. I know plenty of annoying spoofers who spend money and never got banned for years. Got us, we just have to ignore them, as there is no competing against them in gyms 😤

im sure this is an over used comment, but there are just not enough events to legit get regionals. Some global trade events with lucky friends, being an obvious answers. Would have loved to have a global trade event around Valentines / Flabele regional variants. However yes I have most of the regions, some from spoofers. Whilst I dont condon giving spoofers money on regionals, I exisit online with other, I get to know people, some of those people have been spoofers, who have from time to time, landed me, and traded me something I would not otherwise have.

Also the short community days, as someone who started playing lock-down/2020 just dont always match my schedule, so again I might have a couple of shinies from a spoofer. I might also do NZ/Aus raids for new Pokemon with that spoofer. I cant out right condem them.

I feel that this game is specifically for getting out of the house and exploring.
If you don’t want to leave the house, play a different game.
If you are in an area where pokemon GO is really difficult, then play a different game.
I lived in San Fran, now I live un the middle of nowhere and have to drive 15 minutes to my closest gym. The gameplay is drastically different.

Cheating isn’t justified. You aren’t entitled to a bunch of gyms and stops every single day, unfortunately it’s unfair that you might live in a area that sucks for pokemon GO, but if so, play a different game.
